How to get to Frankfurt
Below you will find the three most popular options how to get to Frankfurt.
There are two different airports in and around Frankfurt. Frankfurt Main International (FRA) next to Frankfurt City and Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN), which is 130 km away from the city center. Sometimes it might also be an option to fly to Cologne (CGN) or Dusseldorf (DUS) and continue by train or long distance bus.

The biggest airport in Germany and only 15 minutes away from the city center. All major airlines are present: Lufthansa, British Airways, Alitalia, Iberia, TAP, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and so on.
From here you can take the S-Bahn (local train) S8 or S9 direction „Hanau“ or „Offenbach“ to get to the center. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs 4,35 Euro. The important stops in the city center are: Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), Hauptwache and Konstablerwache.

Even the airport has Frankfurt in his name, it is 130 km / 1.5 hours away from Frankfurt. There are 2 low cost airlines present: Ryanair and Wizz Air.
